Spirit AeroSystems Limited is the largest supplier of commercial airplane assemblies and components in the world.
Based in Prestwick, Ayrshire, SpiritAero contacted Cameron requesting information on the Freeway Information System.
After an initial demonstration it was established a system which would allow them to relay information to employees throughout the site, from a single control point was required. The Freeway System allows information such as productivity statistics, health and safety information and general welcoming messages to be prepared and scheduled for playback at specific times and to individual areas.
Seven areas across the huge facility were identified and numerous LCD Displays were installed, by utilising the existing LAN we were able to link all of the displays and zone units back to the master scheduling unit.
The Freeway System now plays an integral part of keeping Spirit AeroSystems employees up to date and informed on all aspects of company practices, promotion and productivity.
