With the increase in demand in the teaching of clinical skills for the medical and nursing professions, Cameron have developed the total audio visual simulation system for the clinical skills market.

With systems already installed in some of the major universities in the UK, Camerons can offer a complete package including design, installation and training.

Ward Simulation Area

Using our control software, the cameras can be controlled such to adjust properties such as the zoom level, focus and position. The cameras have optical zoom giving high resolution quality and require no extra lighting levels within the ward.

All cameras can be controlled from a master or local control room while each is enclosed and positioned on the ceiling in the ward. The camera has a pan and tilt range of over 300 degrees and a suitable wide angle to cover the complete bed area from inside the curtain rail. Controlling the complete system

The whole system can be controlled from a central or local control area. Signals from any area can be recorded simultaneously on to DVD, Hard Disk or VHS media. All cameras can be viewed in real time. Optional digital editing facilties can be provided for finished programs on to DVD, Tape or Web.

Live signals and recorded media can also be played back in lecture theatres throughout the campus, similar to the system shown below installed at Queens University in Belfast.
